The Daily Mail is reporting that the ladies of Destiny's Child are considering reconnecting for a stellar, 10-year reunion tour. The celebrated threesome also plan to release another group album, but they may have to do so under a different name.
The members of Destiny's Child have fluctuated throughout the years, and although Michelle, Kelly, and Beyonce comprise the group's most recognizable lineup, Bey's father Mathew Knowles owns one fourth of the group as well. Although Mathew is Beyonce's father and former manager to the ladies, they do not want anything to do with him.
Since the trio refuses to work with Mathew the reunion tour and album keeps getting postponed. A source connected to the group tells the Daily Mail, "The problem is they can't figure out how to nix Mathew from the deal. They all want more than anything to give the fans one last run of the group, especially since they all have their own individual success, but don't want to deal with Mathew."
As it stands, there's little chance that Mathew would allow the group to cut any deals without him.
"At best they maybe could offer him a flat rate or one-time settlement to buy out his portion of the group, but otherwise we may never get a Destiny's Child reunion because none of them want him to benefit financially," the source added.
