UPDATE: The judge in the case between Turk, Cash Money Records and Money Mack Music has just granted the default, which means the judge will determine what the final amount will be in the suit against Birdman.
Turk has been taking his lawsuit against Birdman extremely seriously, but it looks like the Cash Money Records CEO has been paying the case little, if any, attention. VladTV broke the story that the former Hot Boy was coming after Baby for up to $1.3 million in unpaid royalties, and then Turk went and took it a step further when he issued a summons that Birdman had 21 days to respond to. Being that he sent the summons back in February, Birdman has had more than enough time to handle the matter, but instead has continued to ignore it, resulting in Turk's lawyers filing an order of default against him.
VladTV just received the default judgement that the former Cash Money member's lawyers filed against Cash Money Records, Inc. and Money Mack Music, Inc. In the documents Turk - born Tab Virgil, Jr. - reminds everyone that he served the papers in mid-February and has yet to hear a response. Turk's attorney Patrick Costello is also on file stating that the labels had up until April 11, 2015 to do so but have failed to plead. Read all of the exclusive documents in the gallery above.
