Expressing his eloquence and intelligence, OG Maco recently stopped by Atlanta's Hot 107.9 to chop it up with B High Atl. During the intriguing exclusive the "U Guessed It" rapper spoke openly on a myriad of topics including the popularity of his hit track, his new singles, and other artists working to emulate his signature style.

"I can honestly say this, my record was at first known by a whole bunch of celebrities and nobody," remembers OG. He then speaks on hearing about it being played at Solange's recent wedding, while at the time the public was oblivious to its existence.

After describing that "weird" experience of it being known by stars but relatively unknown by regular people, the emerging XXL Freshman spoke about how Vine helped to boast the track's popularity from a "few million plays" to "24 million loops."

"Everywhere I went, it was the same response," OG quips about the amazing impact that his track "U Guessed It" had garnered with little official promotion behind it. As the dialogue delved into his thoughts on what makes him distinctive in Hip-Hop, his unblemished candor opens his comment with, "Everybody, they conform and I'm a rock star. Everybody, just, you know, they're trying to do something and I'm doing what I want, it's a little different."

While contrasting the manufactured characters of his contemporaries, Maco then states, "It's not too many people who live this everyday." Living by the motto of "all you can do is win or lose," he smirks before adding, "I just happen to win a lot."

Be sure to check out the full video as it contains a poignant explanation about the motivations behind and surge in success of his latest tracks "Want More" and "F**k 'Em," and why he considers demonstrating his journey as being more impactful than just merely offering material-driven lyricism.
