"I've been attracted to younger men since I was in my twenties. When I was in my twenties I would date people who were barely legal," says Karrine Steffans when replying to a question on if she considers herself to be a cougar. The wife, mother, and entrepreneur offers her unadulterated truth to VladTV as it relates to being married to a younger man whom she completely loves and respects.
"In my current situation I don't see [Lil] Wayne as much. I've seen him, but we haven't picked up our old habits as much since I've been in this situation," she explains. Being married for "a while" to a man in his "twenties," the thirty-something former Hip-Hop vixen speaks on how her fully-encompassing love for her husband has created a situation where for the "first time" in her life she is fulfilled and doesn't want any other man, not even Lil Wayne.
Karrine then states, "This is the first time that I am with someone that I respect, completely respect - personally, professionally - respect!" The discussion delves deeper as she clarifies her insight, saying, "I don't respect other people, even Wayne; I don't respect Wayne. You know, certain aspects of his life are not to be respected. For me, at this stage in my life, there are certain things that I can not respect from anyone. There are certain things that I do respect like his work-ethic, but there are certain aspects, you know, personally, that I just cannot respect."
As the published author discusses her current marriage she smiles while saying, "I respect this person, I love him, of course, it's not romantic, it's deeper than that. I love him like family. So, there's no whimsy here, there's no whirlwind, no butterflies, none of that stuff that goes away later. It's this, I love you as a f**king person."
Karrine is unable to keep from blushing as she gushes about the romantic love of her life, revealing, "For the first time I'm supporting someone in every other way except financially. And for the first time I don't want anyone else."
