Taylor Gang member Ty Dolla Sign recently chopped it up with DJ Smallz to talk about his upcoming album "Free TC" and the inspiration behind it, and how he spent his album budget to produce the album which he calls "a movie."
The Los Angeles rapper, singer and producer's younger brother TC is currently in jail facing a life sentence, and with "Free TC", Ty plans on taking whatever money he makes from it to "give him another chance at life like he deserves."
Ty - who stays mum on the actual release date of the album - says that with his album budget, he took the money and "put it back into the music," spending over $50,000 on orchestra strings to make sure he releases his best work to date. "Nobody does that anymore, but I care that much about my music, instead of going to buy another whip or some jewelry," he states.
