Chris Gotti sat down with Angie Martinez to discuss multiple issues, starting with his role in the early stage of his brother Irv Gotti's career, "I helped him with every facet of the music business." Martinez went on to acknowledge Gotti's credentials as a manager, explaining that the Murder Inc. co-founder manages Phil Ivey, a professional poker player and winner of ten World Series of Poker Bracelets.

As the interview progressed Martinez asked Gotti about his past issues relating to 50 cent and G-unit, in which Gotti replied, "it's dated it's old."  He also stated, "every time I look at 50 he makes good business decisions."  As they continued to talk, Martinez touched on the beef between 50 Cent and Meek Mill asking, "what do you think is best for Meek?" Gotti replied, "tell Meek go make a record, go make a record, go give me one of those records you did before." He added, "music has a way of making everyone forget."
