Fashion stylist Ian Connor, who is signed to A$AP Rocky's AWGE creative collective, responded on Friday (April 8) to claims that he raped a woman in 2014, which he vehemently denied on Twitter. The woman, Malika Anderson, made the claims on her blog, as she says she met Connor after striking up a friendship online. Anderson says she made it clear to Connor that she just wanted to be friends, adding that they hung out in person three times.
The third time they met up in person is when Malika says Ian raped her. She told her followers, "The 3rd and last time we hung out I hit him up. He came to my crib in the morning and I figured we would just talk and chill per usual... But that isn't what happened. We were sitting on my bed, just talking. and he asked if he could eat me out. I declined. And I told him I wasn't trying to have sex. So he's like okay."
Malika says Ian continuously asked if he could go down on her, and after a while she obliged. She then claims Ian started having vaginal sex with her without her consent, which she immediately confronted him about. Malika says Ian left following the incident, and he told her that he would text her. She went and got tested the following day and claims she had contracted gonorrhea.
Malika went to the police with her claims, but the case was closed due to lack of evidence and alleged former victims refusing to testify.
Soon after Malika's story went viral, Ian spoke out on Twitter, denying the claims. He told his followers, I Get Off The Plane To Hear The Weirdest S***. I Swear Coming Up Is A Curse, Money Ain't Worth My Name Being Sabotaged.Confused Girls Love Stern Clout."
