On Friday April 7th evening workers at a Minnesota Burger King believed they were doing their due diligence to protect the establishment and themselves when they received a prank call from the “fire department” claiming that the building was “pressurized” and bound to explode because of it. As a result, the manager and his employees began smashing out of all of the windows on the ground floor to relieve the pressure.

However, when the police arrived on the scene at the restaurant in the Minneapolis suburb of Coon Rapids, they were naturally quite puzzled at why the employees were breaking the windows versus fleeing from the scene to get help. According to the Star Tribune, Sgt. Rick stated, ”The manager explained they'd received a phone call from a male who identified himself as a fireman who said there were dangerous levels of gas in the building and they had to break out all the windows to keep the building from blowing up."
