Meek Mill released another snippet of his “Back to Back” freestyle which made its debut at a listening party for the rapper back in January.
The track was originally slated to be including on his upcoming Dream Chasers 4 mixtape, but will no longer be on the project. However, Dream Chasers did say it might release the whole version at some point. The track features Meek Mill rapping over the beat that Drake dissed him with last summer. “I be rapping for that nigga like back to back, I got Nicki know they mad at that,” he raps on the new snippet. Meek Mill seems to be attempting to reignite the beef between him and Drake, who is basically on top of the world at this point with his highest selling album to date.
The Philadelphia rapper hit up Snapchat earlier this week to once again accuse Drake of using a ghostwriter. “Weeknd gave half his album to dat drake n***a. Drake not original at all,” wrote Meek Mill on a picture with green writing that read “No shade all facts!.” Meek Mill is most likely referring to Drakes 2011 album “Take Care.” The Toronto rapper and the Weeknd have two collaborations on the project including “The Ride” and “Crew Love.”
