With a lot of rappers getting killed in their city at the hands of "haters," Lil Bibby explains why rappers should refrain from going back to their neighborhoods so frequently. Although admitting that he has a home in L.A. and an upscale area in Chicago, Bibby says he visits his neighborhood from time-to-time but knows that if he lived in his old neighborhood, he would possibly catch a case or meet a deadly fate. He tells DJ Vlad that rapper's enemies have always been around, far before their success in rap and at some point when they witness their progress, they become envious. "A hater just can't be looking at you every day. They [are] just going [to] be—'I'm [going to] do something today.'"

Because rappers are targeted, they surround themselves with people who would handle any drama and take a physical hit or legal hit for the artist. Thus, this is the case for Troy Ave, who is currently out after posting a $500K bail, Bibby addresses the rapper's legal issues and explains in this particular case, and he had no choice but to shoot back.
