21 Savage sat down with VladTV for an exclusive interview where he detailed being involved in street life in Atlanta, joining the Bloods, getting shot, and being a 2016 XXL Freshman.
At the start of the interview the "Red Opps" rapper spoke about being involved in the streets his whole life, but not getting hands-on until he was around fourteen. A few years later he joined the Bloods, but 21 Savage pointed out that he is cool with a lot of Crips, and he doesn't care much for the storied rivalry between the two gangs.
Moving along, he spoke about getting shot six times and fearing he was dying after getting hit in the neck. 21 Savage explained that he lost his best friend in the situation, and afterward, he started being "savage" toward anyone crossing him the wrong way.
