The 2013 killing of three people in a Montgomery, Alabama club will be the focus of a trial that will now move forward, as a second and third suspect have been arrested and indicted on charges of murder and assault in connection with the case. The families of Troy University student Kimberle Johnson, who was 21, Timnarius Hamilton, who was 20, and rapper Glen "Doe B" Thomas, who was 22 when he met his untimely death, will soon be familiar with the face of 24-year-old Taboris Mock, who was detained on Wednesday, September 7, while being re-acquainted with the name Jason McWilliams, 27, who has been re-arrested, after having been released since being captured and charged within days of the December, 28, 2013 shooting at Centennial Hill Bar and Grill. Taoris and McWilliams join Darius Thomas, 28, who is identified as the main suspect, and has been held without bond for two and a half years.

According to police testimony given at the preliminary hearing that followed Thomas' arrest on January 2, 2014, the deadly incident stemmed from Thomas having taken offense over Doe B's refusal to help him gain entry into the club. Doe B, who was performing that night, would meet his fate when later that night, Thomas pursued him with an ax to grind. Detective Andy Magnus detailed a scene in which, aided by McWilliams, Thomas began antagonizing the performer with gang signs and taunts, leading to a face off that turned physical. In what Detective Magnus described as a spurt of erratic shooting that followed, eight people were injured in addition to Johnson, Hamilton, and Doe B, who fell casualty to the violence. The event would grip local headlines in the weeks to follow, with the Montgomery City Council ordering Centennial Hill Bar and Grill to close indefinitely.

Mock, who was only recently pinned down as the third shooter, was indicted on charges of reckless murder and three counts of first-degree assault. McWilliams, who previously faced a capital murder charge along with Darius Thomas, saw his charges reduced. He now faces reckless murder and three counts of first-degree assault as well. Both men remain behind bars at Montgomery County Detention Facility on $200,000 bond. Their arraignment date has been scheduled for September 28.
