Akala stopped by VladTV and dropped a freestyle. In the freestyle, Akala addresses what it was like growing up in Britain being a mixed child in a single parent family, and growing up around drugs and violence. Akala talked about these issues earlier in the interview, and in the freestyle, he also addresses how he came to learn himself, and gain knowledge while growing up. "If you saw me age nine, reading Malcolm just fine, teacher still treated me stupid... and the irony is some of the first man to give some schooling, they were called gangsters..."
