Jeezy said he doesn’t have any plans to speak with Gucci Mane now that he’s home from prison.
The trap legend had an interview with Combat Jack earlier this week where he discussed the status of his relationship with Gucci Mane. He said the two haven’t spoken since Gucci’s been home and admitted to not having any plans to reach out. “Imma tell you like N.O.R.E. I’m just focused on me man. Me and mine. If it got something to do with that. If it doesn’t. honest man I’m grown,” said Jeezy.
Jeezy and Gucci came up together in the Atlanta rap scene and released the song “Icy” in 2005, which helped the two propel to higher levels in music. The song ended up being credited as Gucci’s and that caused a beef between the two. Over the years the beef continued. Jeezy ended up putting a bounty on Gucci’s chain and Gucci was charged with the murder of one of Jeeyz’s associates. Gucci was acquitted but the beef continued. The two traded many diss tracks over the years. They called a truce in 2009, but it didn’t last long. The final jabs were thrown somewhere around 2012. Things have calmed down since then, but it doesn’t look like the two will be collaborating again anytime soon.
