On Monday, hip hop podcast host Taxstone was arrested in connection with the May 2016 shooting at Irving Plaza that left rapper Troy Ave wounded and bodyguard Ronald McPhatter dead. Earlier today, it was reported that authorities identified Taxstone's DNA on the murder weapon, and now Fox 5's Lisa Evers has reported that officials are claiming that Taxstone, aka Daryl Campbell, owned the gun and fired the shot that killed Ronald McPhatter.
According to Evers, Campbell's attorney says he's not guilty.
