Original Hot Boy and legendary Cash Money rapper B.G. could be a free man in a year’s time.
T.Y., a New Orleans rapper who is the biological son of B.G., recently told DJ Smallz that his father could be let out of prison very soon. He was sentenced to 14 years back in 2012 for possession of weapons and witness tampering. The rapper was caught in a stolen car with three guns. At least two of the guns were reported to have been stolen. Despite having 9 years left on his sentence, T.Y. said he won’t have to serve all of that time. “He’s coming home. Like within probably this year,” said T.Y. “If not this year, next year for sure. But we shooting for this year, you feel me? ‘Cause he been telling me all kind of good sh*t.”
B.G., along with Lil Wayne, Juvenile and Young Turk, is one of the founding members of the Hot Boys. Once he’s set free the group might finally be able to have a proper reunion.
