The Chicago Bulls lost for the 6th time in 10 games on Wednesday night, January 25, when they blew a 10-point lead with just over 3 minutes left in their Eastern Conference match-up against the Atlanta Hawks at home. With the defeat, Chicago fell below .500 and into 8th place with a 23-24 record. After the game veteran transplant, Dwyane Wade reminded his younger teammates that he's already accomplished everything a player coming into the league can dream of, and hinted at it being on the rest of the team to strive for that same level of success. ''I'm 35 years old, man. I have three (NBA) championships. It shouldn't hurt me more than it hurts them. They have to want it,'' he said.

Jimmy Butler may have only played half as long as Wade has, but he voiced the same frustration and pointed to the casual attitude of the guys around him as part of the problem. ''If you're not (mad) after you lose every game, something's wrong," Butler said. ''This is your job. This is supposed to be what you love to do. Not everybody looks at it this way."

While in comparison to the Hawks, who saw six of their guys score in the double digits, the Bulls squad certainly did underachieve, their unbalanced point distribution wasn't a factor heading into the games final minutes. Ultimately, heading down the stretch Chicago was outplayed on the boards and were only able to capitalize on 4 points in the final 3 minutes, as they were out-rebounded and watched the Atlanta surpass them on a 19 point run.

Butler went as far as to imply that he wouldn't mind seeing some changes to the roster, stating, "I want to play with guys who care and play hard and want to do well for this organization, that want to win games.''
