A high-speed police chase in Webster Parish, LA culminated in a dramatic crash around 1:30 PM on Tuesday, February 28th.
The truck, pursued by police, hit spike strips authorities had placed along a highway; the truck then went airborne and crashed into a restaurant parking lot. The pursued vehicle reportedly hit speeds reaching 115 miles per hour.
The chase began when a deputy pulled over the Toyota Tacoma. As the officer spoke with the driver outside of the truck, the passenger slid into the driver's seat and took off.
An 18-year-old male is in custody.
