The relationship between former teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook has been under a microscope since KD's departure from OKC to the point where every word is dissected and often times blow out of context. The situation wasn't alleviated at all when Durant's brother, Tony, took to twitter yesterday [March 18] and possibly sneak dissed Westbrook.
"Main man chasing the hell out these triple doubles lmao" Tony Durant wrote, and soon after, twitter exploded.
Everyone believed the tweet to be alluding to Westbrook's historic season where he in all likelihood will finish the season averaging a triple-double. After instant backlash, Tony clarified, saying that he was watching basketball NCAA basketball player Monte Morris, who finished his respective game with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Twitter wasn't really buying it and continued to barrage his page until Tony deactivated his account for the night.
Russell Westbrook's wife would later respond, saying Tony Durant just wants attention. Do you believe Tony Durant or is he trying to backtrack after a sneak diss? Let us know in the comments.
