Former heavyweight boxing champ Lennox Lewis recently weighed in on what he thinks will result of a match-up between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor. Lewis says he likes McGregor's broad arsenal of weapons, but in a boxing ring where he wouldn't be able to use them, it's Floyd's game. All in all though, Lewis admits that he doesn't envision it turning out to be much of a competitive match in the first place.
"I don't even think it's a good fight," Lewis told TMZ. "You got Conor. He's great at all different styles, but you've got Floyd which is the master of one. I mean, it's a great spectacle but, I don't think it'll be a great fight."
In related news, word traveled on Wednesday, April 5, that McGregor has already begun taking on a strict training regimen. A compilation of video clips showing the UFC star with gloves on in the gym circulated to reveal McGregor sparring a few rounds, after working on his flexibility and strength conditioning. His camp has confirmed that he is indeed in training mode.
