West Covina rapper Mr. Capone-E took to his Hi Power Entertainment video platform to give thanks to DJ Vlad following his VladTV interview earlier this week. The Sureño rap veteran thought it important to recognize Vlad for being the first major hip-hop media outlet to feature him, despite his being 17 years and over two dozen albums deep into the game.

Capone-E is now a CEO who has signed such artists as MC Eiht, Lil Flip and Bizzy and Layzie Bone and has even begun acting in films, all after having moved thousands of units and worked with the likes of Twista and Snoop Dogg. Still, his Sureño hip hop sub-genre continues to receive marginal recognition from the mainstream. Thus, it has long rested on Capone-E himself to push his work, and he did just that on Friday, when he released a short recording on his moment with Vlad that fans can see, along with other vlogs and videos on his Youtube channel.

VladTV is known for it's popping comments section, and in having known that much to be true, Mr. Capone-E urged his day one's to flock over and to the interview and represent in his name. He recalled seeing interviews, such as one conducted with King Lil G in particular, in which the artist was dragged and trolled by haters, and warned supporters to anticipate that they might come upon attitudes like that from up to 80% of those who respond, and called on them to be ready to defend their music.

"They're gonna call me names. They're gonna call me a b***h, they're gonna call me a ranker, all that s**t," he said. "I'm not worried about that. I'm a motherf***ing rider right here, I'm still here. All that internet s**t, I'm not even tripping off that, but we already know what they're gonna do. So I need you to go out there and represent for your homeboy Mr. Capone-E and let 'em know that you guys are with it."
