Video of a woman remaining unattended to while she stands with her head stuck between train doors has gone viral leading many to question why it is that some might have the wherewithal to film such events, yet lack the compassion to lend a helping hand.
The incident is reported to have occurred last Tuesday, April 4, at around 12:45 p.m. at a Bronx 4 train stop in New York City. Several commuters are seen leisurely passing by as she calls out for help. She is said to have attempted to rush for an exit after realizing she was at her stop but came up short of clearing the doors.
At one point a subway worker even appears to walk past her. The MTA has come to the worker's defense, stating that the employee had already been in communication with the woman and informed her that help was on the way.
