ESPN Cleveland radio personality Sabrina Parr was axed by the network on Wednesday, May 10, after she went off on a rant in which she accused of Browns 2017 1st round draft pick Jabrill Peppers of being a drug addict.
Parr made the comments while carrying out her co-hosting duties alongside Tony Rizzo and Aaron Goldhammer on ESPN 850's 'The Really Big Show.' It was recently disclosed that Peppers showed up to the NFL Scouting Combine with diluted samples of urine, back in February. Rizzo and Goldhammer argued that a diluted sample could be the result of many things that wouldn't necessarily establish that he had enjoyed any illegal substances. But Parr wasn't buying it, and went all in on the rookie prospect.
“He’s not gonna make it through the season. He’s another Josh Gordon. I’ve seen it firsthand from a different vantage point and it’s the same thing all over again. How are you already high out of your mind and you’ve only been here for a week?” Parr said, saying that he is constantly high on lean and molly.
By evening time Wednesday reports began to circulate that ESPN and Parr had agreed to part ways over the statements.
