When it comes to jewelry, for Floyd Mayweather Jr. it is not a game! And The Money Team mogul just thought it was about that time to remind some folks on Saturday, May 3, when he took to Instagram to show off a bevy of watches that wouldn't put a dent in his $650 million net worth, but coupled together would add up to more than most people make in a lifetime.
"It's time to do your homework. A light ten piece with no sauce... And for the record, that's a 44mm white gold Patek Philippe," Mayweather wrote in the caption of a video clip that glosses over ten watches and two phone cases bearing acronyms for The Money Team and The Best Ever.
It is unclear whether the post was in response to someone who dared to put their collection up against his, or the boxing legend was just simply feeling himself heading into the weekend. Back in March it appeared to be the former, when he showed up at a London press conference during a promotional event for Gervonta Davis, with a $620,000 Richard Mille RM 59-01. And a green one at that, which some publications took to be a shot at Irishman Conor McGregor, who had just posted an IG photo of a $62,000 Patek Philippe, with a caption that read "This left hand made me millions."
