Young Thug sparked a stirring reaction on Sunday, June 18, when he became the latest artist to anoint himself the new 2Pac. Of the many who shut down his claim, there was at least one rapper who didn't take too kindly to Thugger's assertion, and he let it be known via Twitter.
Young Thug didn't simply pose that he was the new Pac, as have the likes of Troy Ave and Boosie BadAzz in the weeks leading up to the release of All Eyez On Me; he went so far as to say that he is "the thug [2Pac] didn't get to become," and added a hashtag in which he vows to finish what the late rapper started. Only, like a lot of people, YFN Lucci can't see it. And his reasoning has all to do with the visual.
"Pac would've never wore a dress," Lucci would respond, in a tweet that he completed with a clown emoji.
