Irv Gotti recently premiered a show entitled Tales, that focuses on various topics. The show was described as a “hip-hop anthology series,” and kicked off by creating a rendition of NWA’s “F—k Tha Police.” During the episode, there was a bit of role reversal, as an unarmed white man is killed by black cops. One scene, in particular, a lynching of a white man (played by Brody Jenner, the son of Caitlyn Jenner) left many viewers stunned and talking about the scene. Irv Gotti took to TMZ to break down his thoughts on the scene, and give more insight.
Gotti spoke on how he “reversed the whole world” and switched roles for different races. He said, “I’m showing basically what happens to a lot of black people and how we live, and showing it done to white people.” He went on to say “When you see these horrifying things happening, I want people to step back and I want them to be horrified, and I want them to be shocked. And then, if you are, then maybe understand this is how black people are living and maybe let’s all the cool people of the world try and change it.” Watch above.
