Recently, the Department of Justice launched an investigation into a drug trafficking organization located in Memphis, Tennessee. Since then, 22 people have ben indicted for many charges spanning from money laundering to drug trafficking. Amongst those 22 people is former Death Row Records head of security Reggie Wright Jr. as well as his father Reggie Wright Sr.

Prosecutors said that cocaine, pills, weed, and meth were all sent back from Memphis to California with the intention of being sold. Out of the 22 people arrested, 16 are still in custody including Wright. According to Fox 13 Memphis, the 22 people who were taken into custody are Grape Street Crips. During the course of the investigation which started in 2014, police confiscated over 46 pounds of drugs in total.
