Atlanta’s own YFN Lucci recently made a visit to Hot 97 on Ebro in the Morning to discuss topics such as why he did not make this year’s XXL Freshman Class. However, he got a chance to elaborate on the comments he has made about the late music legend 2Pac as well as his alleged beef with Young Thug.
“I don’t have no issues with nobody,” said Lucci when asked about Young Thug and both of their 2Pac comparisons. “That’s unreal, but I ain’t got no problem with nobody.”
Earlier in the interview co-host Laura Styles asked him about the “Thug Life” tattoo on his stomach, and it prompted Ebro and Peter Rosenberg to ask whether he has seen the recent 2Pac biopic, All Eyez On Me. While he said he did not see the movie he managed to explain his appreciation for the late rapper.
“I ain’t really need the movie, I know enough about Pac. I read about him. Been listening to him. I heard the movie was [not so good],” he said. “I just love how he spoke and what he felt. He ain’t hold his tongue, he was strong in what he believed in and I like the way he rap. He rapped about life and that’s what I do. And him and his momma’s bond is kind of like me and mine.”
