In 2015, August Alsina was very candid about issues with his mother, Sheila Alsina, and it has been years since the singer saw or spoke to her. Since, the feud between the pair and some of his other family members has been long-standing and very public. August was very vocal about his issues with his mother during an interview with The Breakfast Club, and soon after his mother took to Instagram to express her side of the drama.
However, it looks like a reconciliation is in the works. During a recent performance at House of Blues in Houston, Sheila, August's mom surprised her son on stage. The New Orleans native is seen on a video posted to social media, dropping to his knees and crying when greeted by his mother. He hugs her as he sings his heart-wrenching song Make It Home.
