Viral star Slim Jesus has dropped a new video for his track "Warning Shots." In the new visuals, Slim Jesus is back to his trademark, chilling with his crew while they all flaunt multiple firearms. However, it seems Slim has switched up regular his flow, donning a faster lyrical rap style.
After taking a music hiatus, the Ohio rapper returned to the scene back in August with visuals for his remix to Tay-k's hit record "The Race." Like most of Slim Jesus' tracks, the song was not without controversy, as the rapper appeared to take shots at Lil Mouse. While the two have traded diss tracks over the years, the song sparked no response from Chicago rapper.
Since entering the scene in 2015, Slim Jesus has been a polarizing figure in hip-hop. The video for his track "Drill Time", which sent social media into a frenzy, was routinely criticized by lovers of hip-hop. The sharpest judgments came from those who called out the rapper for portraying a life that many felt he had not lived. Back in 2015, when asked by DJ Vlad whether he lives the life he raps, Slim said, "I'm not out here catching bodies and s***, obviously. Like, I'm f***ing smart,"
