To say Slim Jesus is a polarizing figure in the current hip-hop landscape would be an understatement. The Ohio native became a viral sensation when his unassuming exterior was coupled with the drill music sound and visuals. Because of this Slim Jesus has constantly been questioned about his street credibility but in a video posted to Instagram, Slim addresses everyone who continues to ask the same question.
Slim starts the video off by telling viewers that for his next interview, or the next time someone runs into him in the streets to please refrain from asking him about "street sh**." Slim Jesus said that what he does in his personal life is no one's business and that everyone should be worried about the music. He goes on to say that everyone needs to check the numbers and "ask me why I'm getting more views than some of your favorite rappers."
