Yesterday, Sunday, October 8th. ESPN partnered up with well-known battle rappers such as K-Shine and DNA to host their show wearing football jerseys. To the people on the outside, it appears that rappers are there to get black people to watch football in spite of Kaepernick's protest. Rapper Mysonne shared his thoughts on this via Instagram.

"So let me show you how the enemy works.. They realize that they're losing money , viewership is way down after we call for a boycott for them black balling @kaepernick7 (Colin Kaepernick) so they call our favorite Battle rappers to host ESPN and wear football jerseys and talk about the games!! Smh this is why we won't win!! Because they know we want money and fame more than we wan't liberation. They will keep giving us scraps, while they own EVERYTHING.. I love kshine and DNA but somebody should have told them we are at war for our lives!! I'm so hurt and confused, but I shouldnt be this has always been the way they divide us.. We will be defined by what we do at this moment Kings/Queens. I won't be on the wrong side of history!! I refuse to watch football or ESPN on Sunday!!"
