In an Instagram video released in the early evening of October 13, new hard-hitting 17-year-old rapper Lil Pump shows a brief view of himself in what appears to be a hospital, wearing a neck brace, and a wrist brace.
This is not the first time the rapper has been photographed at a hospital. In early August of this year, news broke that he was rushed to the hospital after being removed from a plane for being too loud.
Not much is known of Lil Pump he himself trying to keep his true name hidden. He attended the Charles W. Flanagan High School but was expelled in a dispute with another student. Lil Pump after years of high school freestyle with his friend Omar Pineiro, AKA Smokepurpp art, began his rapper career by taking part in the tours In the Meantime, and No Jumper in 2016 and 2017, along with artists such as Rojas ( producer of XXXTentacion ) and Smokepurpp himself. He began composing his songs through the SoundCloud platform, where he released songs such as Pump (his first song), D Rose and Boss. In April 2017, the unofficial mixtape Let's Get It! Or Die was released by the rapper. On October 5, 2017, Lil Pump published the Lil Pump mixtape, with Lil Yachty, Gucci Mane, Chief Keef, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, and Smokepurpp collaborations.
Lil Pump's songs are based on a typical trap -lo-fi style, with low distortions that also recall the style of artists such as XXXTentacion. Lil Pump believes he can make a huge breakthrough for US rap, and, moreover, does not think it possible to compare himself between him and some other artist.
Among the artists who inspired him are Chief Keef and Lil B. In April 2017, Lil Pump released a freestyle video under a trap base in which he insults, artist J. Cole. The rapper claimed he was about to publish a true diss-track, but so far J. Cole did not respond to the provocation.
