Former dancer Cardi B sat down with DJ Vlad as she was transitioning from dancing into become a full-fledged rap star and discussed some of the social issues within clubs. Cardi spoke the treatment of dark-skinned women versus their light-skinned counterparts and how that influenced some of her body issues.
That issue of colorism has caused a problem within the clubs today, #NYCStripperStrike has surfaced on social media. While it seems to be an issue with bartenders and dancers fighting over customers, Cardi addresses how that is more deeply rooted.
