While new to the game, Cardi B is becoming known for being an outspoken voice in hip-hop. Despite becoming the first female rapper to hit the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 19 years with her song "Bodak Yellow," Cardi still faces criticism from many who feel she doesn’t deserve her accolades. Now, it appears Cardi believes that her haters will never be “satisfied,” even if she pulled a stunt like kissing fellow female emcee Nicki Minaj.
On Tuesday, Cardi B sat down with Complex where she gave the rundown of her day leading up to being proposed to by her boyfriend Offset. As the conversation progressed, Cardi touched on the controversy surrounding a track with her and Nicki Minaj. Recently, the Migos released a new song called “Motorsport” featuring the two female emcees. While both Cardi and Minaj have stated on numerous occasions, there is no tension between each other, social media went wild with speculations that the two rappers traded shots at one another on the track.
“I feel like people wouldn’t even be satisfied even if me and her [Nicki] was making out on a freaking photo or if I was with any other female artist," Cardi said when asked if she feels the track will calm beef rumors. "I feel like people just want that drama because it’s just entertaining.”
