Birdman and legendary producer Mannie Fresh reunited as the Big Tymers in Chicago this past Saturday (Nov. 4). Previously the two performed last year at the House Of Blues in New Orleans.

The duo headlined and performed at Fake Shore Drive’s 10th Anniversary Concert at the Portage Theater as part of Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days in Chicago.

The performance kicked off with their hype man bringing them individually bringing Fresh and Birdman to the stage as they opened things each of their classic features from Young Jeezy’s “And Then What” and Rich Gang’s “Lifestyle”.

Despite a minor sound issue in the beginning, the duo went on to deliver a fun filled memorable set that certainly brought back Cash Money memories from the ’99 to the 2000. They also commemorated their 20th Anniversary as a group with a solid mix their own hits including “Oh Yeah”, “Get Your Roll On”, “#1 Stunna”, and “Still Fly” to name a few, as well as Cash Money classics from Juvenile, B.G. and Lil Wayne that they have appeared on.

The Big Tymers had plenty fun with the crowd as they also had a twerk contest, similar to their concerts during their heyday. They brought two Chicago women on stage to see who could shake it the best over Juvenile's "Back That A** Up".

Birdman aka Baby posted a picture on his Instagram account to show an intimate moment between him and Mannie Fresh backstage “Mannie Fresh my brother 4Life #cashmoneymillionaires #livinlegends Original Big Tymas.”

Andrew Barber, the concert’s curator and owner of Fake Shore Drive was pleased with the evening’s huge turnout.

“The 10-year anniversary show exceed my expectations,” said Barber. It was a great and peaceful night, celebrated by thousands in Chicago. I was ecstatic that we sold out the venue, and had some of Chicago’s best in brightest in attendance from Chance The Rapper to Twista to Bump J to G Herbo to King Louie. It was a monumental occasion and I’m thankful for every moment of it.”

The concert also included some memorable performances from both modern and legendary Chicago rappers, including G-Herbo, Tee Grizzley w/ Sada Baby, The Cool Kids, Twista & Psychodrama, King Louie, GLC, and Femdot.
