NBA legend, hall of fame inductee, and named one of the "50 Greatest Players of All-Time", Bill Walton is known to be quite hyperbolic in his description of most things. It's usually a long-winded demonstration of vocabulary to describe the simplest of things but that's Walton's style. When calling the UCLA men's basketball game in China, which excluded LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill, and Cody Riley, Walton decided to offer up an apology to the Chinese people regarding the shoplifting case. Walton stated that it was a complete sign of disrespect from the three players to do something in another country that they "wouldn't do at home." Walton stated further that he wanted to apologize to China "on behalf of the human race" for the travesty that occurred.

New updates have revealed that the three UCLA players will have to spend at least another week or two in Hangzhou on house arrest as the investigation proceeds.

In the meantime, listen to Walton's apology on behalf of us all in the clip above.
