After accepting the "Best Hip Hop" award at the MTV EMAs, Eminem took the mic and stated: "I'm not really sure how I got this because I haven't had an album in a few years... I got one comin' thought." Em went on to thank Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B-Real, who presented the award to him.
Earlier in the night, Eminem performed "Walk On Water" for the first time live on the MTV stage.
