The passing of Lil Peep just a few weeks ago has sparked much-needed conversations in the hip-hop community about drug use and mental health. A host of artists has come forward to vow against using prescription drugs, particularly Xanax, which has become tied closely to this anti-prescription drug wave due to Peep's passing. XXXTentacion spoke about starting an anti-drug movement in honor of Lil Peep while Wiz Khalifa and Daz Dillinger both said that Lil Peep's passing could be used as a lesson.
While some are looking at representing Peep as a figure for anti-prescription drug awareness, others are commemorating Lil Peep in more personal ways. Post Malone recently got a portrait tattoo of Peep on his arm in amazing detail.
