Update: Terry Crews' sexual assault lawsuit against Hollywood agent Adam Venit has been passed to the Los Angeles District Attorney. Via Deadline, L.A. County D.A. spokesman Richard Santiago said: "A case was presented to our office on February 6 by the Los Angeles Police Department involving Adam Venit and is under review."

District Attorney Jackie Lacey, along with the special task force overseeing other sexual assault cases, will review the report. From there, Lacey and his team will decide if Venit will be prosecuted or if the case will be thrown out.

Terry Crews is going after Adam Venit on all fronts after alleging that the Hollywood agent sexually assaulted him. In addition to filing a police report, Crews has now taken further legal action by filing a lawsuit against the WME agent.

According to Crews, Venit grabbed his genitals more than once without his consent during an industry party last year. In his lawsuit, Crews describes Venit's alleged behavior that night as similar to a "rabid dog, sticking his tongue in-and-out of his mouth provocatively."

Crews also said that Adam Sandler, who is a client of Venit's and was also at the party, was notified of the incident shortly after it happened. Crews said Sandler checked on him after he left and he told the comedian that he was "surprised he got molested at age 48."

Also in the suit, Crews says he called his own agent at WME the following day to report the alleged assault and that Venit later called Crews to apologize, saying he "was just not himself that night." Crews also claimed he met with WME's chairman Ari Emanuel who not only apologized for Venit's misconduct, but also told Crews that Venit did not have the power to blackball him as Crews had feared.

After Crews' tweets in October revealing the alleged incident, Venit took a leave of absence from the company, but he went back to work at WME in November. "Someone got a pass," Crews said speaking on Venit's return. Crews was critical of the lack of backlash and punishment for Venit in comparison to the consequences other powerful men in Hollywood have faced with the recent onslaught of sexual misconduct allegations.
