The Diplomats are back with a brand new music video for their song “Once Upon a Time.” The song features all three original members including Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Cam'ron. Produced by the Heatmakerz, the track has a choir-like sound which coincides with the video's church setting.
Jones raps in front of a choir wearing pink bandanas, a color/style Cam made famous back in 2003 during Dipset's peak. The video also features some religious imagery with crosses and stained glass portraits of Jesus Christ. Cam even aims at Harvey Weinstein on the track.
Longtime fans of the group will enjoy their first official video release in years. It came as a surprise when Dipset reunited last month after Jim and Cam went through a vicious back and forth that led to both of them falling out with each other last winter.
Fans unsurprisingly thought it was a wrap for The Set until they were announced as headliners for the Rap Caviar concert in November. They also dropped some new music shortly after the show and promised an EP for sometime next year.
