Bill Nye is everyone's favorite science guy and with the advent of Twitter, the quirky guy that taught many millennials about science during the 90s remains culturally relevant. He recently sat down with Complex for an interview where he was asked about the new "flat-earther" trend that has two prominent proponents in Kyrie Irving and B.o.B. According to Bill Nye, the idea that the earth is flat is downright ludicrous. He stated that just because you can't see "Florida from Manhattan" doesn't prove that the earth isn't a sphere. Nye pointed out how the earth being a sphere makes it possible for satellite signals to bounce around so rapidly for live streaming as well as the ability to predict the weather to name a couple.
The Science Guy conceded that Kyrie and B.o.B. are both thoughtful men but he thinks their theory of a flat earth is "weird."
