JuJu visited The Breakfast Club on Wednesday to give her side of the story of her breakup with longtime boyfriend Cam’ron. She expressed her disgust over the rapper’s comments where he claimed that their relationship wasn’t “fun anymore,” and using that as the reason for their split. JuJu said Cam ended up pushing her away for unknown reasons.
“Cam, for the past year, was just like basically pushing me away. Like I didn’t go to any of his concerts, I wouldn’t go to any of his hostings, and I was like yo what’s up?” JuJu explained around the 6:00 mark. The reality star said Cam used the excuse of her “having her own thing going on” as the reason for the drifting apart. The rapper basically stopped her from coming to any of his events but allowed the same people and their group of friends to go with him. This became a huge problem for her.
She also cited social media flirting as a reason for infighting. “There were some things that I wasn’t going to compromise. One of those things was that I’m going to be respected. Because I show you the same respect. You have never seen me in no tabloid embarrassing you. [He] could like any picture on Instagram.
It’s the particular picture that he [does] like.” Cam didn’t want other guys taking pictures with JuJu when he broke her into the industry, but he didn’t live by the same standard according to her. She claims he was liking pictures that he would have disowned her for liking. JuJu later explained that she doesn’t think she’ll get back with Cam, but them rekindling their friendship is definitely a possibility.
