The Cleveland Cavilers fell to 24-11 on the season after losing to the Sacramento Kings 100-95 on Wednesday (December 27). The loss was the second straight for the Cavs following their Christmas Day defeat against the reigning NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors. Before the losses, the Cavs won 18 of their last 19 games.

While the slight two-game skid isn’t too alarming considering the Cavs are only 2.5 games behind the Boston Celtics for the top spot in the Eastern Conference, Dwyane Wade believes the losses are the result of recent victories.

“Sometimes, when you're winning as much as you're winning, you have slippage," Wade told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin Wednesday. “We've had some slippage, and we've got to figure out a way to nip it in the bud before it becomes: 'We in a rut, and we've got to get ourselves back out of it.'"

Wade, who earlier in the season opted to come off the bench, went on to point out the offensive troubles of the 2nd team. The Cavs bench averages 40.6 points per game but over the last two games have only averaged 26 points.

"We're out of rhythm," Wade said "We had a flow going, we had a rhythm going, but then things changed a little bit. You trying to bring new guys back. Tristan [Thompson] came back, and then the lineup was different. And you try to figure out your game. That's the part of it when you have guys who you know that was out, and then they come back in. So we out of sorts a little bit, we out of rhythm, and we got to find it back. We will."
