With the recent passing of Lil Peep, many rappers are now taking inventory of their lifestyle practices in relation to drug use. Rappers like Lil Xan, Lil Pump, and XXXTentacion have each disavowed pill use and now Sacramento native Mozzy is also stepping away from his drug of choice - lean. In a video shared on social media, Mozzy is seen pouring out a fresh bottle of promethazine and codeine cough syrup while telling viewers about his progress toward getting off the drug. He urged kids to cut out their use of lean as well but also said to drink plenty of water if drinking lean is still something they choose to partake in.
