Let the speculation of LeBron's eventual departure from Cleveland begin... rather continue. According to ESPN's Jackie McMullan, LeBron won't commit to returning to the Cavs as the club's owner would like. After making the trade that sent Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics and got the Cavaliers Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Brooklyn Nets draft pick that Gilbert coveted, the owner consulted with LeBron. That consultation was to no avail according to McMullan who stated that James would not pledge to stay with the team.

The draft pick is a touchy subject for Cleveland fans because it's possible insurance in the event that LeBron does leave but James wants the team to trade the pick to bring on an additional piece as they make their run toward a potential NBA Finals rematch with the Warriors.

What do you think the Cavs should do with the pick? And what do you think LeBron will do at the end of the season? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
