That backfired real quick.
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s name has been showing up everywhere after the Brooklyn artist dropped ‘GUMMO’ and rose to fame. Dawned in tattoos, jewelry, and rainbow-colored hair, Tekashi 6ix9ine has become a recognizable figure in music.
Not one to hold his tongue on any subject, Tekashi 6ix9ine is known to be vocal about all things regarding his past, and he speaks openly about living the life he raps.
In what could be an attempted troll, Tekashi 6ix9ine was spotted with Ugly God and the jewelry designer JimmyBoi. The video begins with 6ix9ine saying, “All you celebrities be wearing fake jewelry, but we here to test real diamonds” as he stands next to Ugly God, who holds a large stack of money. Ugly God says, “N***as be trying to play me, talking bout my sh*t fake,” to which6ix9ine says his jewelry is “dumb fake.”
6ix9ine gloats about how nice his chain is and then begins using a diamond testing device to check the authenticity of the diamonds in Jimmyboi’s ring and Ugly God’s chain. As he tests each of their jewelry, the device responds positively which indicates they are real. After each person passes the "Diamond Tester Challenge,” 6ix9ine hands the device to Jimmyboi and tells him to test his chain.
Sadly, no reaction occurs after 6ix9ine’s chain is tested. He responds saying, “Hold up, you’re not getting on the stone,” and after recalibrating the device, still nothing occurs.
This is either an attempt to fool 6ix9ine’s audience, or it is a challenge that backfired in his face.
