Amid rumors that she is nearing a run in the WWE, Ronda Rousey was spotted coming from dinner with WWE Executive Vice President and superstar, Triple H.
On Tuesday (Jan 9), TMZ Sports caught Rousey and her agent exiting the Republique restaurant after Triple H was spotted in a car driving from the establishment. Upon making her way to her car, Rousey was asked did anything materialized from the meeting with the wrestling superstar, but she dodged the question saying she just “enjoys fine dining.”
Despite being silent on the details discussed, Rousey has been on the wish list of fans to join the company following her appearance at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 confronting Stephanie McMahon and Triple H alongside The Rock. Aside from WrestleMania, back in May, Rousey was spotted in the NXT crowd as she cheered on her friend, Shayna Baszler, throughout the Mae Young Classic.
The potential addition of Rousey may help balance out WWE’s undertaking of the first women's Royal Rumble match on Sunday, January 28. The match will feature 30 female wrestlers trying to toss each other over the top rope for a chance to face the champion during WrestleMania 34. While nothing is confirmed, perhaps we could see Rousey holding WWE gold soon.
