WWE superstar Enzo Amore seems to be under the impression that the unconventional approach to WWE will be a learning experience should Ronda Rousey decide come aboard.
Amore, who is the currently WWE’s cruiserweight champion, told TMZ Sports on Thursday that Rousey has to be prepared for the unexpected, unlike in MMA.
“She's in for a rude awakening,” Amore said before being asked to clarify his comment. “MMA is MMA. I’m not hating on MMA whatsoever respect what they do so much. You ever been put through a table, slammed on concrete? It's a different ballgame."
While he believes the shift in fighting styles would be a learning process, Amore went to say Rousey would “translate quite well” because of her “respect” and understanding of how hard wrestlers work.
Amore’s comments come after Ronda Rousey was spotted coming from dinner with WWE Executive Vice President Triple H amid rumors she’s on the heels with a potential run with the company.
The move to the WWE wouldn’t be all too surprising considering Rousey has been spotted at numerous events. Back in 2015, Rousey made an appearance during WrestleMania 31 confronting Triple H and Stephanie McMahon alongside the Rock. Although she hasn’t signed to the WWE officially, Rousey could make her debut during the company’s first Women's Royal Rumble set for January 28 if the cards play out right.
