After living in the U.S. for nearly 30 years, Jorge Garcia, 39, has been deported to Mexico. The landscaper and father of two said goodbye to his family yesterday morning.

Garcia came to America when he was just 10 years old. In November, he found out that he was scheduled to be deported back to his native country. Garcia's deportation was paused after Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Dingell made a request for him to spend the holidays with his family.

According to ABC7, Garcia cannot return to the U.S. for a decade. Many are upset over Trump administration's immigration crackdown. Furthermore, immigrant advocates claim that it separates families.

At this time, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Khaalid Walls says he's looking into Jorge Garcia's situation.
